'Notorious' Springfield Man Busted Again For Car Break-Ins: Police A man with a "notorious" history with Springfield police was arrested again after officers say he was caught breaking into cars.  Darrell Cowlan, of Springfield, who was recently released on larceny, breaking and entering, and fraud charges, was arrested again in connection with several car break-ins in the Forest Park neighborhood, police said. Police said they had reports of car break-ins in that area and found surveillance footage that showed the suspect. Officers were able to identify Cowlan in them.  On Friday, Oct. 20, detectives arrested Cowlan on Belmont Avenue.…

Seen Her? Alert Issued For Missing 13-Year-Old Western Mass Girl Police in Western Massachusetts have asked the public for help locating a missing 13-year-old girl. Police in Hampden County reported that Giannalise Cruz was last seen at about 7 p.m. on Wednesday, June 1, by the Food Zone in the Forest Park neighborhood of Springfield. The Springfield Police Department said Giannalise had left school with another child earlier that day. She is described as being 5-foot-2 and 89 pounds, with black hair and green eyes, police said. She was last seen wearing a sweatshirt and sweatpants, red crocs, and glasses, authorities said.  Authorities…

Alert Issued For Suspect On Run In Western Mass Police in Western Mass have issued an alert for a man wanted on numerous charges including assault and battery with a motor vehicle on two police officers. The Springfield Police Department is asking the public for help locating 33-year-old David Williams of Springfield. He is believed to be in the Forest Park area of the city. Police have been searching for Williams since early April when officers attempted to pull him over on an active but he refused to stop and evaded officers.
