The suspect was wearing a black ski mask when he entered the store located in East Meadow at 2465 Hempstead Turnpike at around 8 p.m. Thursday, Sept. 26 and began concealing merchandise in his bag.  He exited the store without paying for the merchandise and was confronted by store security, Nassau County Police said, adding that security recovered the merchandise, "and the suspect directed physical threats towards them as he was leaving the scene." Man Accused Of Driving Drunk With Boy Inside Pickup Truck In East Meadow A man has been accused of driving drunk with a boy inside his pickup truck on Long Island. The incident happened around 8:50 p.m. Saturday, June 15, in East Meadow. 21-Year-Old Bites Officer On Long Island, Police Say A man has been arrested after he allegedly bit an officer during a skirmish at a Long Island hospital, police claimed. Essex County, Massachusetts resident Anthony C. Gomez, age 21 of Lawrence, was admitted as a patient into East Meadow’s Nassau Univesity Medical Center on Wednesday, Feb. 28, according to Nassau County Police. At just about 2 p.m., the Lawrence man allegedly became aggressive with medical personnel. When police stepped in, Gomez bit the officer in the leg.
