Central Mass Police Cruiser Totaled By Drunk Driver Who Blew Stop Sign While a Sutton Police officer was unscathed from a recent accident, the same cannot be said about his cruiser.  Sergeant Joe Fortunato was heading towards main Street on Putnam Hill Road when his cruiser was hit by a car that did not stop at a stop sign on Sunday, Sutton Police said on Facebook.  The crash caused significant damage to Sgt. Fortunato's vehicle but thankfully, he was uninjured. To make matters worse for the driver, authorities learned 85-year-old Nina Quirk, of Berlin, was driving while under the influence of alcohol.
