Cape Cod Toddler Attacked By Dog Airlifted To Boston Hospital A 2-year-old child is undergoing emergency treatment at a Boston hospital after they were attacked by a dog on Sunday, March 31, authorities announced.  Wellfleet police said a pit bull mix bit the toddler just after 2 p.m. at a home on East Hill Road.  Paramedics rushed the child to Cape Cod Gateway Airport, where a MedFlight pilot awaited to take them to Boston.  The child's injuries are not considered life-threatening. Police did not say how the dog was connected to the child.

The incident took place in East Hartford in a home on Fuller Avenue around 3 p.m., Wednesday, March 13. According to East Hartford Police Officer Marc Caruso, officers responded to the home where they found the boy had been bitten several times by a dog. Worcester DA Honors Lunenburg Police Officer Who Saved Man From Pitbull Attack The Lunenburg police officer who saved a 75-year-old man from certain death after a dog attacked him for no reason earlier this year was honored for his bravery and quick thinking.  Wayne Comeau was at the Lunenburg Animal Control office when one of the dogs attacked him. Comeau's wife is the town's animal control officer. A resident was walking her 11-year-old, 18-pound Cockapoo at Lynn Woods Playground when a male suspect walked past with his three unleashed Pit Bulls, Lynn Police said.
