Body Found In Vehicle, CT State Police Say Connecticut State Police are investigating a suspicious incident after a person was found dead inside a vehicle in a wooded area. The body was discovered in Tolland County in the town of Somers late Thursday, Aug. 5 on Durkee Road. Somers is located upstate, on the Massachusetts border with Connecticut. Durkee Road is located about two miles from the border. State Police, who are releasing little information, did not say why the death was suspicious or release a cause of death. Dead Body Found Floating In Connecticut River By Bicyclist Authorities are investigating the discovery of a body in the Connecticut River in Western Massachusetts. CT Woman Found Dead In Driveway, Police Say Police are investigating after a Connecticut woman was found dead in her driveway. The middle-aged woman was found around 6:40 a.m., Thursday, May 7 in Hartford County on Wallace Street in Enfield, said Enfield Police Chief Alaric Fox. Fox said the department is investigating the circumstances surrounding her death, but that it was too early to speculate.  Police have issued a notice to neighbors in the area to expect police activity during the day as investigators work the case.  This is a developing story. Fairfield County Man Found Dead Inside Mercedes Van Parked Behind Pennsylvania Hotel A 51-year-old Connecticut man was found dead inside of a van parked behind a hotel, authorities said. Police in Delaware County, Pennsylvania were called to the Best Western on Providence Avenue in Chester on Tuesday, April 20 where a member of the military found the body in a Mercedes van parked in a spot reserved for military personnel, Chester City Police Captain James Chubb said. The man was later identified as John Melia, of Stamford, Chubb said. No foul play was suspected, and Melia's body was recovered by the Delaware County Medical Examiner’s Office for an autopsy.

ID, Details Emerge After Mother, 12-Year-Old Daughter Found Dead In Massachusetts Home A 49-year-old woman and her 12-year-old daughter who were found dead inside their Massachusetts home have been identified by the District Attorney's Office. Jihyun Lee and her daughter were discovered around 7:30 a.m., Friday, March 19 inside their Shrewsbury home, said Worcester District Attorney Joseph Early Jr. Lee was rushed to UMass Medical Center where she was pronounced dead.
