Man Accused Of Sexually Abusing Two Children In Fairfield County A man who allegedly sexually assaulted two young girls over the course of several years in Fairfield County is in custody after attempting to flee the country, police said. On Nov. 11, 2019, the Danbury Police Department received a complaint involving the sexual abuse of a 12-year-old girl, which led to 33-year-old Juan Perez-Barbahona being identified as a suspect. The allegations against Perez-Barbahona led to an extensive investigation by the Danbury Police Department’s Special Victims Unit, which determined that the sexual assault had been ongoing for several years.
