'Completely Avoidable' Murder: 21-Year-Old Charged With Double Shooting In Western Mass
A 21-year-old man who police say cut off his court-required ankle monitor — twice — while out on bail is now charged with a double shooting at a birthday party in Springfield last week that left a man dead. Tyre Shakespeare was arrested on Sunday, July 2, in Springfield and charged with the killing, Springfield police said. The attack happened near Ashmun and Adams streets on Thursday afternoon.
