Man Found Laying In Road Attacks Officers Trying To Help, Busted On Gun, Drug Charges: DA
A man found lying on a Berkshire County road having what rescuers believed was a medical episode didn't appreciate being bothered and attacked the officers who tried to help him, authorities said. He even tried to grab one of their pistols during the scuffle. Charles Crosby, 37, is facing multiple charges from the Friday, Jan. 26, incident in Pittsfield, the Berkshire District Attorney said.
