A DoorDash driver on a Dunkin Donuts run in Essex County crashed into a body of water because their GPS gave them bad directions, they told police. 93-Year-Old Killed Riding Tricycle In Crash Near Merrimac Home
Authorities have identified a 93-year-old Massachusetts man killed in a fatal crash late Saturday afternoon, July 1. Robert Whitcomb of Merrimac was struck by a car while riding a tricycle near his home on Bartlett Street just after 5 p.m., Merrimac Police said. Paramedics rushed him to Portsmouth Hospital, but doctors couldn't save his life. The teenage driver remained at the scene and is cooperating with investigators, authorities said.
