A 28-year-old Connecticut man was found shot to death inside a crashed vehicle after responding to a Shot Spotter alert. The incident took place in Hartford on Thursday, March 9, around 2:36 p.m., at the intersection of Albany Avenue. 4-Year-Old Girl Hospitalized: Man Arrested After Hit-Run Crash In Central Mass
A 54-year-old Central Massachusetts man was arrested after he tried to run away from a crash that sent a 4-year-old girl and an adult man to the hospital, authorities said. The crash happened around 4 p.m. Wednesday, March 8, along Webster Street when two white SUVs crashed into one another, Worcester Police Lt. Sean Murtha and news reports said. Gary Lemieux, age 54, of Cherry Valley, jumped from one of the wrecked vehicles and tried to run away, but police captured him, Murtha said. Fatal Crash: 31-Year-Old Man Killed While Walking In Central Mass
A 31-year-old man was killed early Sunday morning, Feb. 19, while walking near a fast-food restaurant in Milford, authorities said. The man, who police have not publicly identified, was hit just after 4 a.m. while walking by the rear entrance of Wendy's near the intersection of Dilla and Cedar streets, Milford Police said. Investigators The driver remained on the scene. Police did not release their name. It's unclear if they will face any charges. Milford police are investigating the crash with the Worcester District Attorney's Office.

A person was injured after their vehicle crashed into a tractor-trailer on Interstate 84 in Vernon. The crash happened on Tuesday, Feb. 14 around 5 p.m. on I-84 eastbound just after the Exit 66 on-ramp, according to the Vernon Fire Department. Falling Tree Kills Baby Riding In Car In Western Mass: DA's Office
A infant was killed Friday afternoon, Feb. 3, when a falling tree crashed into the car they were riding in, authorities said. The incident happened just before noon along Route 57 (Feeding Hills Road) in Southwick, MA, Hamden County District Attorney Anthony Gulluni said. The driver, a 23-year-old woman from Winstead, CT, was rushed to an area hospital with serious injuries. Gulluni said the child was the woman's niece. A portion of Route 57 near Foster Road was shut down Friday afternoon as police cleared the scene. The investigation is ongoing.

Connecticut State Police are asking for witnesses to a serious crash that severely injured a 67-year-old man to come forward. The crash took place in Tolland County on the Tolland Turnpike in the area of Daleville Road in the town of Willington on Wednesday, Jan. 4. A child is in the hospital after they were hit by a car on a major route in Framingham this week, authorities confirm to Daily Voice. Framingham Police and Fire responded for a report of a child struck while crossing Route 135 near 596 Waverley Street around 6:25 p.m. on Thursday, Dec. 29, Framingham Source reports. A Douglas woman has died after she was hit by a car at the end of her driveway this week, authorities said. Police received multiple calls about a person who was hit by a car near 93 West Street around 1:30 p.m. on Monday, Dec. 26, Douglas Police said on Facebook.
