Accused Rapist Sliced Woman's Throat With Box Cutter On Springfield Sidewalk: Police A man who is accused of slicing a woman's neck with a box cutter as she was walking down a street in Springfield on Sunday, May 12, has been arrested, police said.  Jovan Murphy, 31, of Springfield, faces multiple felonies for the alleged attack, Springfield police said.  The victim told police she was walking along the 100 block of Union Street around 3:45 a.m. when an unknown man began to follow her.
