Former Patriots Wide Receiver Danny Amendola Announces Retirement Former New England Patriots wide receiver and two-time Super Bowl champion Danny Amendola is retiring despite getting interests from multiple teams, ESPN reports. Amendola, age 36, has spent a total of 13 season in the league and was with the Patriots from 2013 to 2017. Amendola was part of two Super Bowl-winning teams in 2014 and 2016.
