Christopher Rondeau, 37, pleaded guilty to one count of possession of child pornography in October and was sentenced this week, the US Attorney for Massachusetts said. He's been held in federal custody since November 2020.
Rondeau was convicted of receiving child porn in 2016, and a court sentenced him to more than five years in prison, authorities said. He was given supervised release in August 2019.
Investigators found a cellphone at his home in November 2020 with photos and videos of child pornography, the prosecutor said.
Rondeau faced a mandatory minimum of 10 years in prison, but he could have been sentenced to as much as 20 years, authorities previously said.
