Sterling Baptiste Jr., 14, Shot And Killed In Worcester The family of a 14-year-old boy who was shot and killed late last week is asking for help to pay for his funeral.  Sterling Baptiste Jr. was shot and killed on Friday, April 26, in the Belmont neighborhood of Worcester. Police were called around 4:15 p.m. and found the boy bleeding from a gunshot wound inside an apartment. Despite their attempts to save his life, paramedics pronounced him dead at the scene.  A 16-year-old was arrested in connection with the shooting the following day.
