Sure, 2020, why not.
On Tuesday, Nov. 24, around 11:30 a.m., the Somerset Police Department posted a photo to Facebook of Officer DeMoranville moments before being attacked by a turkey.
“Now this is getting serious,” said police who were officially “feeling silly” when they made the holiday joke.
DeMoranville was giving directions when a turkey came up behind him and leaped for the officer.
“I think we have a turkey revolt on our hands,” Somerset Police said.
With an estimated 46 million turkeys eaten each Thanksgiving, perhaps it was only a matter of time before the turkeys decided to fight back.
