Uxbridge Road (Route 16) was closed between Thornton Street and Harvard Avenue because of a car crash that went up in flames this week, according to the Mendon Police Department.

The crash was reported around 6 a.m. on Friday, May 5, according to a Facebook post from Mendon Police.

Delays were expected and people were being told to seek alternate routes. No word on any injuries, but Daily Voice has reached out for more.
