The Vermont State Police said the incident occurred in Addison County, Vermont, in Ferrisburgh on Sunday, Sept. 8. Mass. Gas Station Explosion Sends 4 To Hospital With Burns Authorities are investigating the cause of an explosion at a gas station in Norfolk County Friday night, Aug. 30, that sent four people to the hospital — two of them with severe burns, police said.  The explosion was reported just after 6 p.m. at the Sav-More Gas Station at 220 South Main St. in Bellingham, Bellingham police said.  Firefighters and other first responders rushed to the scene to extinguish the flames and take the injured to area hospitals. Teen Hit, Killed By Tractor-Trailer Walking Along I-91 In Western Mass Police are investigating after a tractor-trailer hit and killed a 19-year-old man on Monday, July 29, in Hampshire County.  The teenager was walking on I-91 in Northampton near the southbound on-ramp of Damon Road/Bridge Street rotary just before 10 p.m. when he was struck, the Northwestern District Attorney's Office said.  The man died at the scene. Man Killed In Western Mass Shooting ID'd As 38-Year-Old Authorities have identified the 38-year-old man who was shot and killed on July 9 in Hampden County.  Dexter Ortiz, 38, of Holyoke, was gunned down just before 11:30 p.m. in the 50 block of West Street, the Hampden District Attorney said. Police responded to the area after receiving a ShotSpotter call. The shooting remains under investigation. Police have not named the shooter.

Police Asking For Tips After Man Shot In Central Mass Police in Worcester say a 24-year-old man was shot during a meeting with his attacker on Thursday, June 13.  The shooting happened around 4:30 p.m. in the area of Vernon Street. Worcester police were called to the shooting site and provided first aid until paramedics arrived to take him to an area hospital.  Investigators do not believe the shooting was random, and there is no ongoing threat to the community.  Officers ask anyone with information about the violent attack to contact investigators at 508-799-8651.

30-Year-Old Man ID'd As Victim In Fatal Springfield Shooting Police have identified the man who was killed in a shooting earlier this month in Springfield.  Aaron Cabrera, 30, of Ludlow, was shot around around 10 p.m. on May 21 in the 0-100 block of Fort Pleasant Avenue, Springfield police said.  Police were alerted to the fatal shooting after receiving a ShotSpotter alert. They found Cabrera bleeding from a wound, and paramedics rushed him to Baystate Medical Center, where he died of his injuries, police said.  Investigators are still searching for the shooter. Man's Body Found In Mass Wastewater Treatment Plant Workers at a Brockton wastewater treatment facility found the body of a man floating in the water Friday morning, May 24, authorities said.  The workers called 911 around 8:15 a.m. when they found the man at the 303 Oak Hill Way plant, the Plymouth District Attorney's Office said.
