Arsonist Torches $1M Worth Of Vehicles In Secluded Connecticut Construction Yard
Connecticut State Police are asking for the public's help to track down an arsonist who caused $1 million in damages after they torched construction equipment in Hartford County. Hammonasset Construction told police that someone set ablaze several vehicles parked in a secluded construction yard near exit 39A on I-84 in Farmington, authorities said. Mass. Gas Station Explosion Sends 4 To Hospital With Burns
Authorities are investigating the cause of an explosion at a gas station in Norfolk County Friday night, Aug. 30, that sent four people to the hospital — two of them with severe burns, police said. The explosion was reported just after 6 p.m. at the Sav-More Gas Station at 220 South Main St. in Bellingham, Bellingham police said. Firefighters and other first responders rushed to the scene to extinguish the flames and take the injured to area hospitals. Woman Killed In Fiery Western Mass. Crash ID'd
A 47-year-old woman has been identified as the victim who died single-vehicle crash in Berkshire County after her car burst into flames, authorities said. Susanna Thomas, of Pittsfield, was found trapped in a firey wreck just after 1 p.m. in the area of 782 and 785 Partridge Road in Lanesborough, the Berkshire County District Attorney said. Firefighters battled back the flames to reach Thomas inside the Nissan Rogue, but unfortunately, she was pronounced dead at the scene. Chicopee Woman ID'd As Victim In Fatal CT Hit-Run Crash
A 40-year-old Hampden County woman was identified as the victim of a fatal hit-and-run crash Wednesday night, June 19, in Hartford. The car that hit her was later found abandoned and on fire. Lutricia Daniels, of Chicopee, was walking along Main Street at 11:55 p.m. when a Honda Accord slammed into her and sped away, Hartford police said. She was pronounced dead at the scene. 90 Percent Of Western Mass Motel Destroyed In Late-Night Fire
Seventeen people were displaced when a two-alarm fire tore through a well-known, family-owned Franklin County motel over the weekend, authorities said. The fire began at The Rainbow Motel at 64 State Road in Whately just after midnight on Saturday, May 18, the Whately Fire Department said in a Facebook post. The fire burned so hot and fast that 10 agencies from surrounding communities sent firefighters, equipment, and mutual aid to battle the blaze.
