Spring & Mulberry expanded its voluntary recall of select chocolate bars because of possible Salmonella contamination, according to a company announcement posted by the Food and Drug Administration on Friday, May 8.
The affected products were sold online and through select retail partners nationwide since August 2025.

A pantry staple built for road trips, parties, and desk drawers is now the subject of a nationwide recall.
John B. Sanfilippo & Son, Inc. announced the voluntary recall on Tuesday, May 5, and the FDA published the company notice on Wednesday, May 6.
The recall involves snack mixes sold under the Fisher, Southern Style Nuts, Squirrel Brand, and Good & Gather brands.
The products were flavored with a seasoning made by a third-party supplier that contained recalled dry milk powder from California Dairies, Inc.
