Related: $15.4 Million Lottery Ticket Given As A Birthday Gift Aucoin chose to take the lump-sum payment of $650,000 (before taxes) rather than the annuity.  He bought the winning ticket at the Gulf gas station at 349 Great Rd. in Bedford. The store will get a $10,000 bonus for the sale.
