Webster Drunk Driver Crashes On I-395 While Trying To Run From Police In CT: Troopers An intoxicated 20-year-old Massachusetts man led Connecticut police on a high-speed chase that ended in a crash on I-395, authorities said. Victor Lagutowski, 20, was arrested early Thursday, Feb. 13, after crashing his car into a guardrail on I-395 in Killingly, Connecticut, State Police said. The chase started in Webster, where local officers said they spotted Lagutowski driving recklessly in a parking lot around 2 a.m. When they attempted to stop him, he sped away, State Police said. Griswold Crash Leaves Massachusetts Trucker Dead A 42-year-old Middlesex County, Massachusetts, man died after crashing his truck down an embankment along I-395 in Connecticut. Tim Murray, of Ashby, crashed his Freightliner truck in Griswold, New London County between Exit 24 and 28 around 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 8 Construction had closed the southbound right-hand lane of the highway. As Murray merged into the left lane, his 2019 Freightliner hit a guardrail. Murray corrected the truck but not before striking another section of the guardrail.  The truck tumbled down an embankment. Authorities pronounced Murray dead at the scene.…
