1 Dead, Another Hospitalized Following Late-Night Greenfield Fire Firefighters were called to a house fire around 11:15 p.m. on Wednesday, Nov. 13, at 52 Silver St. in Greenfield with reports of multiple people trapped inside, the Massachusetts Fire Marshal said.  Greenfield firefighters beat back flames before they could make it inside. Once they did they found one person dead and two others suffering injuries. Authorities did not release the victim's name.
