Grafton Man Fatally Struck Walking On I-90; Police Close Lanes For Hours A 36-year-old Central Massachusetts man was hit and killed on I-90 in Worcester County this week, police said.  Jayson Bastarache, of Grafton, was struck on the eastbound lanes of the interstate near mile marker 98 around 7 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 22, Massachusetts State Police said.  Police listed Bastarache as a pedestrian, but a bicycle was found near the crash site and footprints nearby. Mass Man Kills Himself On Interstate After Fatal Daytime Shooting In Worcester: Police Massachusetts police are attempting to unravel the chaotic case of a man who is believed to have shot and killed someone in Worcester before he walked onto I-190, pointed his gun at terrified drivers, and then killed himself when officers had him cornered, authorities said.  It began around 2:20 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 2, when Worcester police were called to a home on Heroult Road to reports of a gunshot victim.
