36-Year-Old Killed In Crash After Hitting Motorcycle Lying In Roadway A 36-year-old Connecticut man was killed after hitting another vehicle that had crashed. It happened in Hartford County around 10:30 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 3 in Wethersfield. According to Connecticut State Police, Taj Andre Beckford, of Bloomfield, was driving a Suzuki motorcycle northbound on Route 5/15 just north of the on-ramp for Route 314 when he hit another motorcycle lying in the roadway, but not the driver identified as Jordan Barnes, age 20, of Newington. The impact threw Beckford from his motorcycle and he landed in the roadway, state police said. Beckford suffered life-threatening…

Police Seek Witnesses After 25-Year-Old Killed In Overnight CT Crash Connecticut State Police are seeking witnesses to a car crash that killed a 25-year-old man after he allegedly lost control of his vehicle.  Hartford County resident Joseph Johnson of Manchester, was killed around 2:15 a.m., Friday, Feb. 24 on Route 5/15 northbound, south of exit 86 in Hartford. 33-Year-Old Woman Dies In Wrong-Way, Two-Vehicle Crash In Connecticut A 33-year-old woman was killed in a wrong-way crash involving two vehicles in Connecticut. The crash happened on Route 5/15 Northbound near Exit 91 in East Hartford at about 5 a.m. on Sunday, June 12, according to Connecticut State Police. A 2003 Honda Civic LX was going the wrong way on Route 5/15, traveling south in the northbound lanes, when it struck a 2013 Jeep Grand Cherokee Laredo, police said.  The Jeep came to an uncontrolled rest in the right lane, and the Honda came to an uncontrolled rest in the left shoulder of the highway, authorities said.
