WalletHub released its 2025 ranking of the nation's Most Diverse Cities on Wednesday, Feb. 26. Three Maryland communities topped the list of 501 locations, which were evaluated based on socioeconomic, cultural, economic, household, and religious diversity. Lynn Man Dies After Apartment Fire; Marks State's 40th Fire Fatality Of Year A Massachusetts man who was severely injured in an apartment fire over the weekend has died, authorities said. The man, a Lynn resident in his 40s, was found unconscious on the third floor of a six-family apartment building at 104-106 Lewis St. around 11:45 a.m. on Saturday, Dec. 28, the State Fire Marshal's Office said. The man's name has not been released. Crews contained the fire to a single room and extinguished it in about an hour. Lynn firefighters performed CPR on the man at the scene, and paramedics rushed him to Salem Hospital. Doctors later transferred him to Brigham and Women’s…

Pregnant Woman Fatally Stabbed In Lynn By Ex-Boyfriend's Brother: DA A 26-year-old man is accused of fatally stabbing his brother's pregnant ex-girlfriend at her home in Lynn, authorities said.  Zachary Vozzella, of Lynn, was arraigned Thursday, Aug. 1, and charged with murder and assault and battery with a dangerous weapon, the Essex County District Attorney said. He pleaded not guilty.  The body of 25-year-old Brianna Welsh was found at her home at 254 Lynnway #329 Wednesday morning after police responded to a 911 call. Body Of Missing Mass. Teen Pulled From Walden Pond The body of a teenager pulled from Walden Pond on Tuesday morning, July 30, is believed to belong to a 17-year-old who went missing last week, authorities said.  Brian Lopez, of Lynn, who was a rising senior at Lynn Classical High School, was reported missing on Friday. Police had marshaled an aggressive campaign to find him, but all early indications point to the body belonging to Lopez, the Essex County District Attorney's Office said.  The Office of Chief Medical Examiner will make the final identification and cause of death. 'Generous And Humble': Families Remember Men Who Drowned In Lynn Ponds Authorities have released the names of two men who drowned in separate incidents in Lynn over the Memorial Day weekend.  Michael Petkewich, 60, and Macario Ordoñez Calmo, 30, were both killed on Sunday, May 26.  Firefighters were called to the Breeds Pond just after 7:15 p.m. to rescue Calmo. They risked their lives to pull him from the water, but they couldn't save his life.
