A Massachusetts woman claimed a yearly prize that will keep on giving. Felicia Linton, of Salem, won the multi-state $25,000 a year for life prize in the Lucky for Life game after the first five numbers on her Quic Pic ticket matched those selected in the Dec. 15 drawing. Linton claimed her prize Thursday, December 26 at Massachusetts State Lottery headquarters in Dorchester. She chose the cash option and received a one-time payment of $390,000 (before taxes). A Dorchester man won a $1 million jackpot in the Massachusetts State Lottery last week. Emanuel Correia won the seven-figure prize for playing the "300X" game, a $30 scratch-off ticket. Stop & Shop, the supermarket chain with 360 stores throughout the Northeast, said its locations will stop carrying tobacco products at the end of the month. No Bail For Man Accused Of Robbing Unconscious Victim In Brazen Boston Attack
A Dorchester man with a long criminal history was ordered held without bail after he allegedly attacked an older man and robbed him as he lay on the ground unresponsive, authorities said. Damond Brown, 52, is charged with unarmed robbery of a person over 60 and will return to court on June 17, the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office announced on Thursday, May 30.
