Authorities have identified a 20-year-old man as the shooter at a Worcester County house party in May that left a teenage boy dead. Police are asking the public to help track the man down. The Hampden District Attorney slammed a judge's decision to set the bail for an alleged gun trafficker at just $10,000 after prosecutors had asked for $50,000. 30-Year-Old Man ID'd As Victim In Fatal Springfield Shooting
Police have identified the man who was killed in a shooting earlier this month in Springfield. Aaron Cabrera, 30, of Ludlow, was shot around around 10 p.m. on May 21 in the 0-100 block of Fort Pleasant Avenue, Springfield police said. Police were alerted to the fatal shooting after receiving a ShotSpotter alert. They found Cabrera bleeding from a wound, and paramedics rushed him to Baystate Medical Center, where he died of his injuries, police said. Investigators are still searching for the shooter.
