21-Year-Old Nabbed After Breaking Into Inwood Home, Police Say A 21-year-old man is accused of burglarizing a Long Island home. Nassau County Police were called about a break-in at an Inwood residence on Wahl Avenue at around 4:30 a.m. Wednesday, Oct. 2. When officers arrived, they found Wilber Sigaran fleeing the scene, police said. An officer caught up to Sigaran and deployed a TASER device in order to place him under arrest. Sigaran, of Inwood, is charged with assault and burglary. He was scheduled to be arraigned at First District Court in Hempstead on Thursday, Oct. 3.

Amanda Tucker, of Dix Hills, was last seen on Friday, Sept. 20, according to the National Center for Missing and Exploited Children. She was previously reported missing in April, Suffolk County Police said. Tucker is 5-foot-4 and 252 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes.
