Over a decade after being featured on the television show “Kitchen Nightmares,” a Massachusets restaurant seems to have benefited from chef Gordon Ramsay’s visit.
Olde Hitching Post, located in Plymouth County at 48 Spring Street in Hanson, is one of the lucky, once-failing restaurants that has survived and now seemingly thrives following its stint on the reality television show.
The eatery, which serves up soups, salad, burgers, and much more, was featured on the reality show’s sixth season and aired in 2013.

A restaurant based in California is bringing Hong Kong-style cuisine to two locations in Massachusetts.
Baby Cafe Kitchen is planning to open up shop at 1006 Beacon St. in Brookline in February and one location at 128 Brighton Ave. in Boston’s Allston in April, Boston Restaurant Talk first reported.

Seven pizzerias have been recognized as the best in Massachusetts at specializing in specific regional styles, according to a new report by The Washington Post.
The eateries are included in a database compiled by the Post that lists the best pizzerias in each state specializing in Detroit, Neapolitan, New Haven, New York, Roman, Sicilian, and Tavern-style pizza.

An eatery known for its huge portions is closing, much to the sadness of patrons who say it had the "best chicken salad sandwiches, hands down, anywhere."
Mighty Subs, a sandwich shop located at 250 Highland Avenue in Needham, is closing on Friday, July 28 after 33 years in business, according to social media and Yelp reports.

A Middlesex County restaurant and bar announced that it would close its doors for the last time, sparking an outpouring of shared fond memories and good times.
John Brewer's Tavern, an American-style restaurant and bar with three eastern Massachusetts locations, announced on Facebook that it would close its Malden restaurant, located at 7 Highland Avenue, at the end of the day on Monday, July 24.
