2 $100K Lottery Tickets Sold In Mass
It was a very happy weekend for two Bay Staters after they won $100,000 in the Massachusetts State Lottery. The winners correctly guessed all five numbers in the daily "Mass Cash" drawing and collected their prizes on Friday, June 28. They were the biggest jackpots claimed over the weekend. Westminster Police Charge Man With Sexual Enticement Of A Minor
Westminster Police have arrested a man this week for allegedly trying to have sex with a minor. Evidence presented to police suggested that Wayne J. Allaire was trying to persuade the minor to engage in sexual activity with him, Acting Police Chief Jason Tamulen said on Facebook. The evidence, which included documents and chats between both individuals, was then reviewed by a private investigator. Former Stow Town Treasurer Charged With Embezzling Taxpayer Cash: Police
A 57-year-old Westminster woman is accused of siphoning off tens of thousands of taxpayer money during her time as Stow town treasurer, authorities announced on Friday, Sept. 16. Pamela Landry faces a litany of charges after authorities say she stole between $45,000 and $133,584 from 2017 to 2019, the Middlesex District Attorney's Office said. An outside audit of Stow's books in 2019 revealed a shortage of $133,584.39 from the town's bank accounts.
