Authorities ID Victim Of Early Morning Fatal Stabbing In Western Mass: Report Authorities have identified the victim of an early morning stabbing in a Western Massachusetts city as Duane Miller, age 49, of Springfield, Western Mass News reports.  Police responded to the stabbing in the 0-100 block of School Street in Springfield just after 5 a.m. on Monday, as previously reported by Daily Voice. Responding officers found Miller bleeding out and rushed him to Baystate Medical Center where he later died, according to Springfield Police. An investigation by the Springfield Police Homicide Unit under the direction of Captain Trent Duda has led to murder charges again…

2 Found Dead In Western Mass Home A man and a woman were found dead inside a Western Massachusetts home after a call from a relative. The two were found in Springfield around 10:15 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 25 on Maynard Street. According to Ryan Walsh, spokesman for the Springfield Police,  officers responded to a home on Maynard Street for immediate assistance after a relative found the man and woman dead inside the home from apparent gunshot wounds. The Springfield Police Homicide Unit under the direction of Capt. Trent Duda is investigating, Walsh said. The names and ages of the two people have not yet been released. …
