Springfield Police Investigating Fatal Early Morning Stabbing; 1 Arrested Authorities said that detectives are investigating the fatal stabbing of a man at an apartment in Springfield early Monday morning.  Springfield police responded to the home just after 5 a.m. on Monday and found the man bleeding out, said Ryan Walsh, the department's spokesperson. Investigators rushed him to Baystate Medical Center, but he did not survive.  Investigators have not released the man's name, but they arrested the person they say is responsible.  Madonya Jones Rodriguez, 21, was arrested just after 5:30 Monday morning in connection with the killing. 2 Found Dead In Western Mass Home A man and a woman were found dead inside a Western Massachusetts home after a call from a relative. The two were found in Springfield around 10:15 p.m., Sunday, Sept. 25 on Maynard Street. According to Ryan Walsh, spokesman for the Springfield Police,  officers responded to a home on Maynard Street for immediate assistance after a relative found the man and woman dead inside the home from apparent gunshot wounds. The Springfield Police Homicide Unit under the direction of Capt. Trent Duda is investigating, Walsh said. The names and ages of the two people have not yet been released. …
