Heavy downpours led to widespread flooding and power outages across eastern Massachusetts on Monday, Dec. 18, and it could be days before authorities can restore electricity to all homes. Holliston Man ID'd As Driver Killed In Multi-Car Crash In Brookline: Police
Police have identified a man believed to have had a "medical event" that led to a multi-vehicle crash in Norfolk County on Sunday, Aug. 20. Jacques Ducrepin, 50, of Holliston, was driving the car that crashed into several others near the intersection of Route 9 and Warren Street in Brookline just after 2:30 p.m., authorities said. Ducrepin's car struck the other vehicles, veered off the road, and crashed into a tree, police said. He was pinned inside the wreckage along with his wife. A car crashed into several other vehicles before driving off a Norfolk County road and into a tree, possibly because its driver suffered a medical episode, officials said. A 50-year-old man died on Sunday, Aug. 20, after his car smashed into two others and then veered off the road and into the tree, trapping both him and his wife in the vehicle just off of Route 9 near Warren Street in Brookline, according to the Brookline Police Department. A driver had to be pulled from his tractor-trailer after it rolled over on a major highway in Central Massachusetts, officials said. The rollover crash was reported at Exit 59B on I-495 North in Southborough on the evening of Thursday, Jan. 19, according to MassDOT on Twitter. Hadley Police ID Type Of Van That Critically Injured 13-Year-Old Boy In Hit-And-Run
Hadley police believe they've determined the type of van that sped away after critically injuring a 13-year-old boy in a hit-and-run crash earlier this week. Surveillance video showed a white van with no descriptive markings plow into the teenager Tuesday morning as he crossed Route 9 near the Hampshire Juvenile Court area, the Northwestern District Attorney's Office said.
