Man Hospitalized After Single-Car Crash In Georgetown First responders attempted to save the life of a man who was seriously injured in an Essex County crash until paramedics rushed him to an area hospital, officials say. A 74-year-old man was injured in a crash that occurred just before 9:40 a.m. on Monday, Aug 14 on East Main Street (Route 133) in Georgetown, according to the Georgetown Police and Fire Departments.  The man was driving west on East Main Street when his vehicle drove off the road and smashed into a tree, according to witnesses. Woman's Body Found In Incinerated Car That Crashed In Driveway Of Rowley Home Authorities on the North Shore are investigating after the body of a woman was found in a burning vehicle this week. Rowley Police responded to a report of a car crash at 935 Haverhill Street just before 1 a.m. on Friday, April 7, the Essex County District Attorney's Office reports.  Upon arrival, crews found a 2003 Volkswagen Beetle fully engulfed in flames with the woman dead inside. She was later tentatively identified as 79-year-old Susan Frey of Gloucester, the DA's Office said.
