Alec Baldwin's 'Rust' Film Sets Premiere Date 3 Years After Fatal On-Set Shooting
Three years after a cinematographer was shot and killed during the making of Alec Baldwin’s next movie, the film has finally set a release date. “Rust,” a Western drama that Baldwin wrote, directed, and stars in, will premiere at the Camerimage International Film Festival in Poland on Saturday, Nov. 16, according to its IMDB page. Gary Zerola, a well-known Boston defense attorney who served as a former prosecutor in Suffolk and Essex counties, was sentenced to five to 10 years in prison after being found guilty of 2021 rape, authorities said. Zerola, 52, of Salem, was found guilty last month after prosecutors said he broke into a 21-year-old woman's home in the middle of the night and sexually assaulted her. Ex-Boston Cop Sentenced To Prison After Gift Card Scam Conviction: DA
A 49-year-old former Boston police officer who was convicted last week of multiple charges was sentenced to prison on Tuesday, authorities said. Mila Depinaa-Cooley was convicted on three counts of receiving property worth more than $250, the Suffolk County District Attorney said. The judge sentenced her to six months in prison, though she will only have to serve 60 days with the remainder being suspended for a year, the prosecutor said. The 79-year-old former Everett Superintendent of Schools was convicted on Thursday, Feb. 9, of groping a female employee multiple times in 2017 and 2018, authorities said. He faces more accusations from other women as well. Central Mass Man On Parole For Child Porn Pleads Guilty To More Child Porn Charges: Feds
A 37-year-old Auburn man convicted of receiving child porn in 2016 pleaded guilty this week to having child porn, federal authorities said. He now faces a mandatory minimum of 10 years in prison when a judge sentences him in March. Christopher Rondeau was out on parole in November 2020 when officers found a cell phone with images and videos of child pornography during a search of his house, the US Attorney for Massachusetts said. A judge sentenced Rondeau to more than five years in prison in 2016, but he received supervised release in 2019, federal authorities said.
