$100K Lottery Ticket Sold In Peabody
Not everyone hates Mondays. It was the day someone in Peabody walked away with a $100,000 prize in the Massachusetts State Lottery. The ticket was claimed on Monday, June 10, in the "300X," a $30 scratch-off game. The winner's name was not released. A Gloucester man who won $1 million says he knows how he plans to spend some of the money. Roger Duchane won the seven-figure sum playing the “$4,000,000 Monopoly Doubler," a $10 scratch-off ticket. Duchane chose to take the lump sum payment of $650,000 (before taxes) rather than the annuity. He said he plans to use that money to buy a new house.
