Griswold Crash Leaves Massachusetts Trucker Dead
A 42-year-old Middlesex County, Massachusetts, man died after crashing his truck down an embankment along I-395 in Connecticut. Tim Murray, of Ashby, crashed his Freightliner truck in Griswold, New London County between Exit 24 and 28 around 8:30 a.m. on Thursday, Aug. 8 Construction had closed the southbound right-hand lane of the highway. As Murray merged into the left lane, his 2019 Freightliner hit a guardrail. Murray corrected the truck but not before striking another section of the guardrail. The truck tumbled down an embankment. A 70-year-old tractor-trailer driver from Connecticut will spend time in prison for his role in a crash on the Massachusetts Turnpike that left a man dead. Man Dies After Running In Front Of Tractor-Trailer On Mass Pike In Framingham
One person has died after they were struck by a truck on a major highway in the MetroWest region of the state this week, authorities confirm to Daily Voice. Massachusetts State Police responded to a report of a pedestrian who was struck by a tractor-trailer on the Mass Pike in Framingham around 10:50 a.m. on Tuesday, June 6. Upon arrival, Troopers located a 2013 Freightliner tractor-trailer driven by a 65-year-old man from Connecticut that struck the pedestrian.
