Man Fatally Shot In Boston's South End 'Was Always Bettering Himself And Others' Tributes have been flooding social media in honor of a 39-year-old man who was shot and killed in Boston's South End last week.  Police responded to a call for a person shot in the area of 9 Yarmouth Place, near Back Bay Station, around 10:47 p.m. on Friday, Nov. 4, Boston Police report.  Upon arrival, officers found Jason Murray suffering from gunshot wounds.
