A 2-year-old boy who died after falling from a third-floor window is one of five children who were allegedly living in "deplorable and uninhabitable" conditions at a Connecticut residence. The incident took place around 3:30 p.m., Saturday, July 22 at 1091 Capitol Ave., in Hartford. According to Lt. Aaron Boisvert, of the Hartford Police, responding officers found the boy unresponsive on the pavement. Hopkinton Military Vet Dies, Wife Hospitalized In Fatal 2-Alarm Easter Fire
In the early hours of Easter Sunday, a two-alarm fire tore through a home and claimed the lives of a military veteran and a dog, and sent a senior woman to the hospital for treatment of her injuries. The fatal fire broke out at a house on Hayward Street in Hopkinton around 1:10 a.m. on Sunday, April 9, according to the Hopkinton Fire Department. Massachusetts Native, 41, Killed By Lightning During Army Training Remembered As Husband, Dad
A Massachusetts native was the only one who lost his life during an army training exercise in Georgia earlier this week. Sgt. 1st Class Michael D. Clark, a Springfield native who was a resident of the town of Bolton in Tolland County, Connecticut, was killed when he and eight other soldiers were struck by lightning at Training Area 26 in Fort Gordon, the US Army said in a release.
