Wrong-Way Driver Kills Woman, 25, In Littleton Head-On Crash A driver going the wrong way on a Middlesex County highway led to a head-on collision earlier this week that claimed the life of a 25-year-old Somerville woman will face charges in the fatal crash, police said.  The head-on crash happened just before 12:45 a.m. Thursday, Aug. 17, on Route 2 in Littleton. Massachusetts Bicyclist Killed While Competing In Race In Vermont: Police A bicyclist from Massachusetts has died after he was hit by a truck while competing in a race in Vermont last weekend, according to authorities.  Police responded to a crash between a pick-up truck and bicyclist near the intersection of Brook and Carter roads in Burke, VT, around 9:20 a.m. on Saturday, April 29, Vermont State Police report.  Initial investigation determined that the bicyclist, later identified as 54-year-old Richard Wanstall, of Marblehead, MA, was participating in a local race when he was hit by a Dodge truck.  Wanstall collided with the truck, which was being driven by …
