Friends of a lifelong Malden resident recently diagnosed with stage 4 brain cancer say they hope a fundraiser will help ease some of her heavy burdens as she prepares for the fight of her life. Teddy Higgins, age 41, was unexpectedly diagnosed with Oligodendroglioma on Tuesday, Jan. 3, a GoFundMe campaign reads.
