General Motors Recalling 449K SUV, Pickup Trucks Due To Low Brake Fluid Warning Light Issues Upwards of 450,000 SUV and pickup trucks are subject to a recall by General Motors due to a faulty electronic brake control module that may potentially fail to warn drivers when there is a loss of brake fluid. The National Highway Traffic Safety Administration (NHTSA) announced on Friday that GM is recalling multiple models and vehicles due to the issue. Head-On Crash In Region Leaves Man, Woman Seriously Injured Two people are recovering from serious injuries following a head-on crash in the region. The Middlesex County wreck happened shortly after 5 p.m. Monday, Feb. 19, in Ashby on Turnpike Road. Ashby Police said a 2003 Cadillac Escalade was driving westbound near Greenville Road when it crossed the centerline and struck a Ford pickup truck head-on. The impact left a 43-year-old Ashburnham woman trapped in the Escalade and a 58-year-old Townsend man stuck in the pickup truck. Foxborough Man Dies In Hit, Run Crash, Rhode Island Man Arrested A man was charged with motor vehicle homicide after his involvement with a crash that killed a Norfolk County man, officials say.  Randall Ricketts, age 58, of Foxborough, died on Monday, Aug. 29 after a three-car hit-and-run crash on Route 95 north near Exit 7 in North Attleborough, according to the Massachusetts State Police.
