2 Elderly People, 1 Officer Hospitalized After 3-Alarm Rockport Blaze Two elderly people as well as a police officer suffered injuries during a fire that broke out at a home in Rockport, officials said. The fire started shortly after 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 17, on the second floor of a home at 74 Phillips Ave., according to the Rockport Fire Department.
 A police officer and a good Samaritan managed to save two elderly residents from the burning building. Boston Woman Drowns Scuba Diving In Rockport A 40-year-old South Boston woman died over the weekend in Rockport while SCUBA diving with her father, authorities said.  Sara Elizabeth Nivens was found late Saturday afternoon, July 22, near the Dry Salvages Rock about two miles northwest of the town, the Essex County District Attorney's Office said.
