An 81-year-old woman was gardening at her New Hampshire vacation home when she was struck by a falling tree, delivering head contusions and killing her, officials say. Phyllis Mary Carifio, of Revere, died on Saturday, April 29 while cutting a tree that had sagged over the winter in her Ossippee, New Hampshire vacation home, according to the Ossipee Police Department. Cause Released For 'Strange Smell' That Hospitalized West Newbury School Student
One student was hospitalized and multiple students nauseated because of a strange odor reported at a Pentucket middle school in West Newbury. Seventh-grade students in a third-floor science lab reported a strange odor around 10:00 a.m. at Pentucket Middle School on Monday, May 1, according to the public relations team for fire and school districts.
