Fake Gun Report Prompts Lockdown At Acton-Boxborough Regional High School (Update) Students at Acton-Boxborough Regional High School in Acton were ordered to shelter in place for two hours following a false report of a gun being brought to school, officials said.  Acton Police responded to the school at 36 Charter Road in Acton for a "potentially concerning situation" on the morning of Wednesday, Sept. 14, Boston25 reports citing school officials.  After a search of the campus, it was determined that no guns were present and the school was deemed safe.
