Fire crews arrived at 356 South Ave. shortly after 9:30 a.m. to find the front wall of a one-story building had fallen over.
Photos of the partial collapse were shared by the Whitman Fire Department on social media.
That part of the building was vacant and there was no one inside at the time of the collapse, officials said.
It is connected to a two-story building, which was not damaged.
Firefighters secured the building, and the National Grid as well as the building inspector were notified.
There were no injuries, according to authorities.
A cleanup crew was also at the scene shortly after 10 a.m.
The Whitman Fire Department is investigating the cause of the collapse.
