Teen From Region Killed After Crashing Car Into Tree A 19-year-old Connecticut woman was killed over the weekend after she crashed into a tree in Hartford County, authorities announced. Tolland County resident Makayla Theriaque, of Vernon, was identified as the victim in a Sunday evening, Aug. 25, crash in Manchester, police said.  Officers were called to 233 Buckland Hills Drive for reports of a car crashing into a tree, Manchester police said.  Paramedics rushed Theriaque, who was behind the wheel, to an area hospital, where doctors pronounced her dead.  Manchester police are investigating the crash. Murder-Suicide: Mom, Baby Boy ID'd As Victims In North Andover Slayings, DA Says Police believe the 35-year-old woman who was found dead at a North Andover home this week fatally stabbed her 9-month-old son before turning the knife on herself.  Jennifer T. 1 Dead, 2 Wounded In Shooting Near Lowell Temple Police say one person is dead and two more were injured in an early morning shooting in a Hindu temple's parking lot in Lowell.  Officers were called to the Middlesex Street parking lot just after 4:50 a.m. on Saturday, July 20, to find the three victims suffering from gunshot wounds, the Middlesex District Attorney said.  A 43-year-old was pronounced dead at the scene, and a 34-year-old man was taken to an area hospital for treatment. Police Investigating Triple Stabbing In Holbrook Police in Holbrook are investigating a triple stabbing that happened early Saturday morning, July 13.  Officers received a 911 call around 3:30 a.m. about the attack near 166 Longmeadow Drive, Holbrook police said.  When they arrived, police found two men and one woman suffering from stab wounds. Paramedics rushed the victims to an area hospital for treatment.  Authorities did not provide information on the severity of their wounds or updates on their conditions.  Officers do not believe this was a random attack and say there is no ongoing threat to the community.…

Motorcyclist Killed In Groton Crash ID'd As 27-Year-Old Man Police have identified the 27-year-old motorcyclist who was killed in a head-on crash earlier this week in Groton.  Cody Trudel, of Ayer, died after his bike was struck head-on along Boston Road just after 4:20 p.m. on Wednesday, July 10, the Middlesex District Attorney's Office said.  Investigators believe the driver of an oncoming car in the westbound lane veered into his lane. The 20-year-old Townsend driver of that car remained at the scene.  Police are investigating the circumstances leading to the crash. No charges had been filed as of Friday afternoon.

15-Year-Old Shot To Death In Lowell Found By Family Member A 15-year-old girl was repeatedly fatally shot in Lowell on Friday evening, June 14, authorities announced.  Lowell police received a 911 call just after 6 p.m. after a family member found the girl inside a Lawrence Street apartment with multiple traumatic injuries to her body, the Middlesex District Attorney said.  Investigators found multiple shell casings near her body.  Officers were searching the apartment Friday night and into Saturday morning.  The investigation is ongoing.
