A Somalian man living in Pennsylvania threatened to assassinate President Joe Biden and former President Donald Trump, and now he's in a Pennsylvania Prison, according to a release by the US Department of Justice on March 15, 2024. Mohamed Farah, 34, who was living in Cumberland County, was sentenced by U.S. District Court Judge Jennifer P. Wilson to three years’ imprisonment on Wednesday, March 13. Boston Man Recruited Teen Foster Child For Sex Work In Mass, NY, CT: Feds
A 31-year-old man from Boston admitted to trafficking a 17-year-old girl for sex at hotels in Hartford, Connecticut, and New York City, officials said. Leon Blount III met the girl, identified as Jane Doe 2, while she was living at a Massachusetts group home for adolescents, according to the US Attorney's Office for Massachusetts. A college community in Connecticut, alongside many nationwide, has been left reeling after a student of Palestinian descent was one of three shot in what appears to be a hate crime. Tahseen Ali Ahmad, age 20, who attends Trinity College in Hartford, was one of three men of the same age shot outside of a house in Burlington, Vermont on Sunday, Nov. 26, the school announced. A manager of the Harvard Medical School morgue is accused of stealing body parts from cadavers and selling them to several people across the country, federal investigators said. Cedric Lodge, 55, of Goffstown, New Hampshire, is charged with interstate transport of stolen goods — the goods being human body parts, according to the US Department of Justice. 19: MA Kidnapper, Sex Trafficker, Bank Robber Get Early Prison Release Due To Pandemic
A convicted kidnapper, sex trafficker, and two bank robbers are among the criminals who have been released from Massachusetts prisons early due to the COVID-19 pandemic. So far, 419 motions for release have been filed in Massachusetts by convicts as well as people awaiting trial.
