Too Dangerous For Bail: Athol Man Accused Of Attempted Murder Will Await Trial Behind Bars: DA A judge ruled on Friday, Feb. 10, that an Athol man accused of shooting someone in the head and neck last year is too dangerous to be released on bail.  Yamil C. Nunez, 47, faces more than half a dozen charges stemming from a Nov. 25 shooting, the Northwestern District Attorney's Office said. Nunez pleaded not guilty last week, but a judge ruled him to be held without bail under the state's "dangerousness" statute.  Investigators said Nunez shot a man in the head and neck at a home on Pine Street in Athol. 13-Year-Old Boy Caught Driving Around Boston With Loaded Gun A 13-year-old boy is facing several charges after he was arrested for driving with a loaded gun on the night of July 4th, authorities said Police were patrolling the area of 144 Columbia Road in Dorchester when they observed a vehicle that had the wrong registration information, Boston Police said.  When officers tried to conduct a traffic stop, the driver of the vehicle failed to comply. Suspect Nabbed In Fatal Shooting In Region Police have arrested a suspect in the shooting death of a Western Massachusetts man. The shooting of the 39-year-old man took place around 11 p.m., Wednesday, Dec. 1 in Hampshire County in Northampton. The victim, who has not been identified, was transported to Baystate Medical Center where he was pronounced dead, said Northampton District Attorney’s Office Spokesperson Laurie Loisel. CT Felon Caught With '.38 Special,' Feds Say A Connecticut man pleaded guilty to the unlawful possession of a firearm and ammunition by a felon. Allen Evans, age 35, of Hartford, made the plea on Tuesday, Sept. 21, in New Haven, said Leonard C Boyle, Acting US Attorney for the District of Connecticut.
