Heuermann, 60, of Massapequa Park, was indicted for second-degree murder in the killing of Valerie Mack in Suffolk County Court on Tuesday morning, Dec. 17. Mack, a 24-year-old Wildwood, NJ woman was working as an escort when she disappeared in 2000. A group of hunters discovered her skeletal remains wrapped in a plastic bag in a wooded area of Manorville in November 2000. The alert was issued on Long Island around midday Saturday, Sept. 17 by the Riverhead Town Police Department. Elizabeth Depascale is 5-foot-6, 160 pounds with blonde hair and blue eyes, police said. She was last seen wearing gray sweatpants, a white T-shirt, and white sneakers. Woman Jumps Into Sea Lion Tank At Aquarium In New York A woman was taken to an area hospital after jumping into the sea lion tank at the Long Island Aquarium. The incident took place around 2 p.m. Monday, May 17 in Suffolk County. Officers were called to the aquarium in Riverhead after the woman jumped into the tank. The woman who was taken into custody was taken to an area hospital for evaluation,  the Riverhead Police said. Police said an arrest was not made as of Monday afternoon. Aquarium officials could not be immediately reached.
